I find this limit reasonable, because at this age people are mature enough to be responsible for what they do.
But the desire for alcohol among young people is quite a problem, and sellers at the shops often let young people to buy alcohol. It is also common that at cashier's desk there are stickers that say: "If you're under 18, cigarettes and alcohol are not for you!"
I am new here, and don’t know lots of people. Lots of people don’t know me and don’t care about me. Actually, at this point I’m like strolling through a big city, every moment I see many people, but this is the first and last time I see them. We don’t recognize each other and will forget about it the very next moment.
If in this big city a stranger like me turns to stranger like you and asks for a coin, a minute or a direction, chances are that there will be no contact. Because we don’t know each other, there are no ties between us, no interest, no trust, no credit.
Personal ties is what we are trying to build here to make ourselves heard and to make others hearworthy.
I am here for your time. For your precious 15 minutes. That is the amount of time that will be needed to complete a survey for my PhD thesis.
In my research, I am looking into blogs -- reasons why people are writing them, what kinds of ties they develop and what are their gains from it. Because of its community-oriented architecture, LiveJournal is of special interest to me.
Together, your minutes turn into hours and hours, and archive of valuable data. Without you, there will be nothing.
The survey can be found here: http://en.visidati.lv/aptauja/327475602/

Thanks a lot.
